Looking after your brain doesn’t stop with an assessment. It starts with taking action.
Research shows that regular exercise is one of the most effective ways to support brain health, with growing evidence suggesting it can improve the brain’s size, memory, executive function, and mood, while helping to reduce the risk of cognitive decline.
Brainy Activ Protect is a science-backed exercise program specifically designed to support brain health and healthy ageing. Through fun, engaging and gamified exercise sessions, Protect combines cardiovascular fitness, strength training and dual-task activities to challenge both the body and the brain in a supervised and supportive environment.
Whether your goal is to reduce your dementia risk, stay mentally sharp or continue living independently, Brainy Activ Protect provides a structured pathway to better brain health through movement.

Yes. Following an initial assessment with one of our Accredited Exercise Physiologists, we’ll recommend the most appropriate exercise pathway based on your cognitive function, physical ability and individual needs. Some participants are well suited to our group classes, while others benefit from one-on-one or small-group Exercise Physiology sessions.
Your initial consultation includes a comprehensive assessment of your medical history, strength, balance, mobility, cardiovascular fitness and functional ability. We’ll discuss your goals and determine the most appropriate exercise pathway for you.
BrainyActiv Protect is far more than a general exercise program. Every session combines evidence based cardiovascular exercise, strength training and brain specific dual-task activities that challenge both the body and the brain. Programs are individually prescribed and supervised by Accredited Exercise Physiologists with expertise in neurological and healthy ageing exercise.

Participants can be referred by their GP, specialist or other healthcare professional. These assessments help identify individual risk factors, cognitive strengths and areas requiring support, allowing us to develop a personalised exercise program that complements your overall brain health plan.
Regardless of how you enter the program, every participant undergoes an initial assessment with one of our Accredited Exercise Physiologists to ensure the most appropriate exercise pathway is recommended.
